Processing times for appraiser licenses can vary based on the license type and method of application. Applications for AMC, Ad Valorem, and Reciprocal applications may take up to 10 days to process. Temporary Practice (AT) applications will be issued within 5 business days. Initial and upgrade applications may take up to 90 days to process based on experience reviews and volume of applications.

Online Applications & Forms
An applicant who has a criminal background or license discipline in another jurisdiction may request a preliminary advisory opinion. To access this application, select 鈥淐reate/Continue Application for NEW License鈥�, then select 鈥淧reliminary Advisory Opinion鈥� before selecting the 鈥淎PPR鈥� application type.
Appraiser applicants for the below license types may access the online application form by selecting the link titled 鈥淐reate/Continue Application for NEW License鈥�. Select the 鈥淎ppraiser鈥� application group before selecting the license level you are applying for. 乐竞体育全站 application form includes options to request either a new license, the upgrade of an existing license, or a reciprocal license. An applicant for an appraisal license who has been convicted of, entered a plea of guilty to, or entered a plea of nolo contendere to a misdemeanor or a felony, or any other like municipal code violation, or who has been subject to license discipline an any other jurisdiction will be required to provide additional information during the initial application process. Please use the license type links posted above for detailed instructions on what additional information will be requested during your initial application.
In September of the year of license renewal, the Division will send out notice of USPAP audit. You must either submit your USPAP certificates or pay the non-compliance fee in order to become eligible for license renewal. To access the USPAP Audit application, log into your online account and select the link titled 鈥淯SPAP Audit (Renewal Step One)鈥�. Do not submit more than one application. Division staff will notify you once your submission has been approved.
Once the USPAP audit submission is approved, you may submit your request for license renewal. Renewal is available from November 15th of the year of expiration through January 31st. To access this feature, log into your online account using the above link, then select 鈥淩enew/Reinstate Your License鈥�. Appraisers have 2 years from the date of license expiration to reinstate an expired license.
Both active and inactive licensees must follow the above procedure for license renewal.
To access the temporary appraisal permit application form, select 鈥淐reate/Continue Application for NEW License鈥�. Select the 鈥淎ppraiser鈥� application group, then select the 鈥淪tart鈥� link next to the 鈥淎T鈥� license prefix.
Appraiser Change of License Status Online Application
Licensees may change their license status from active to inactive and from inactive to active using this form.To access this application form, select the 鈥淭ransfer / Activate / Inactivate鈥� link from the Online Services drop down menu. License reactivation will require separate submission of CE course completion certificates for your most recent license cycle.
Certified Licensed History Request
To request a certified license history after logging into your e-license account, select the 鈥淩equest Certified License History鈥� link within the 鈥淥nline Services鈥� drop-down menu.
